alright, after teasing my friend all over her blog – I have to say her house is epic and I did use all her tips with contractors and they were really helpful. Particularly for women.

I love your house.
Your house is stunning. We (mom, my sister and I) did the whole haul in our house. My sister’s room has a small hole up in the ceiling (black mold! Awful!). She stayed in my room to get it removed. Her floor had to be changed (wood flooring), a new color on the wall (a shade of green) and new furniture (it was messed up from all the rain we had). And Mom thought, ‘Hey we need to change our rooms as well.’ Mom’s room was painted a light shade of brown and my room is hot pink. I got new furniture, too. Mom’s such an awesome interior decorator. I wish she picked this career first. But it’s cool on her part.
I don’t know how much we spent on redecorating the whole house?? Must have been in the thousands. Whoa!
